Accountant (Estonia-Based, Remote)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join the Estonian team for one of our clients (direct hiring)

The company is part of a larger international group working in partnership with a focus on the distribution of official merchandising products across Europe and beyond.

SKILLS 🤹:

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Experience with Estonian accounting standards and local tax compliance.


• Strong practical knowledge of EU VAT regulations, including reverse charge mechanisms, intra-community acquisitions, and import VAT requirements.


• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage or similar).


• Fluent in English and Estonian; knowledge of Spanish and Russian is a plus.


• Self-organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, international team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 🚀:

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations in full compliance with Estonian financial regulations.


• Ensure all invoices and accounting entries are accurate, timely, and properly documented.


• Maintain clear, well-organized, and audit-ready financial records to support internal and external reviews.


• Oversee tax compliance processes, including preparation and submission of VAT returns and corporate income tax reports.


• Demonstrated hands-on experience in inventory and supplies management, with solid understanding of IAS 2.


• Collaborate effectively with local and international teams across logistics, operations, and finance.


• Support accounting workflows related to inventory control and merchandising activities.


• Assist in strengthening internal controls and contribute to ERP implementation to drive automation and operational efficiency.


• Prepare and deliver regular financial reports and insights to the CEO and CFO to support strategic decision-making.
