About the role:
Imagine a role where your sharp eye for detail directly impacts how efficient and respected a thriving organization is. As our Accounting Specialist, you'll be right at the front lines of managing our financial commitments, a crucial part of the Storio team. You'll be the go-to person for all things related to supplier payments, making sure everything's accurate, on time, and that we keep great relationships with our vendors. This is your chance to be a key player in our financial world, where what you do directly helps us grow and succeed.
Your Daily Adventure at Storio:
- Every day will bring new chances to make a real difference. You'll be essential in:
- Mastering the art of financial processing: From carefully getting and checking invoices, matching them to purchase orders, and coding them to the right accounts, to sorting out any issues, you'll make sure every financial detail is handled perfectly.
- Making payments happen smoothly: You'll prepare and process payments in all sorts of ways, ensuring our suppliers get paid correctly and on time. You'll also keep a solid system for tracking all our financial commitments and balancing bank statements.
- Building strong connections: You'll be Storio's friendly face to our vendors, building rapport, quickly answering questions, and fixing any payment problems. Plus, you'll keep an eye on vendor accounts and make sure we're following all company rules.
What You Bring to the Party:
- A super sharp eye for detail and accuracy, plus great math skills for all financial data.
- Awesome organizational and time management skills to easily handle tons of invoices and payments.
- Fantastic communication and problem-solving skills for chatting with vendors, teammates, and others, and for figuring out and fixing any snags.
- Comfort with accounting software and other relevant tools, especially if you've used Oracle Fusion.
- You're fluent in both English and Spanish.
Extra Kudos for Experience:
- If you know other languages like German, French, or Dutch.
- If you've worked in an Accounts Payable role before.
