Job Description

 


As an Advanced Regional Manufacturing Engineer (AME), you will support the industrialization, launch, and continuous improvement of electronics manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with engineering, production, quality, suppliers, and global manufacturing teams to drive manufacturing excellence, improve efficiency, and ensure successful program execution.

Responsibilities

Support new product launches and industrialization activities through regular reviews to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers, system integrators, and manufacturing teams to implement manufacturing solutions.
Support EMS and outsourced manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production and quality requirements.
Optimize manufacturing footprint and capacity utilization to improve shop floor efficiency and productivity.
Lead equipment upgrades, technology transfers, and the implementation of advanced manufacturing processes.
Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing equipment and automation solutions, including modular assembly concepts.
Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve process performance.
Provide DFM and PFMEA input, support continuous improvement initiatives, update design guidelines, and contribute to manufacturability reviews for new programs.

Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of SMT and THT manufacturing processes.
Experience with electronics assembly, inspection systems, and process validation activities.
Experience with manufacturing industrialization, automation technologies, problem-solving, and data analysis.
