AFC Junior Analyst (Spain)

As AFC Operations Analyst, you will support all Anti-Financial Crime tasks including AML, terrorism financing, sanctions, KYC, and fraud. You’ll detect Money Laundering typologies and Financial Crime patterns, while handling external and internal requests to detect potential financial crime. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  Investigations of Financial Crime alerts or cases of suspicious activities identified

  
  


• 
  

  Enhancing our analysis, and expanding the processes in our procedures and rulebook, as well as identifying improvements related to our internal transaction monitoring systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Draft Suspicious Activity Reports to SEPBLAC and the corresponding authorities, prior escalation to the Senior Investigator/Associate (L2)

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare and submit documentation to authorities in their relevant channels/tools of reporting

  
  

An analyst will be involved in many different workstreams which change on a daily basis dependant on business needs. The candidate is expected to have sufficient experience to be able to take responsibility for managing:

  Transaction Monitoring (Real-time & Post) alerts

  Case Investigations

  Fraud scenarios

  Ad-hoc Project Work

Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of AFC (Anti-Financial Crime) within financial institutions, consulting firms, or Big Four companies.
