Application Support Technician

You’ll know this position is right for you if you:

• Have 3–5 years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support.
• Have strong working knowledge of client–server applications in Windows and Linux environments.
• Have experience administering and managing databases.
• Possess excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Are willing and able to participate in 24/7 on-call support and work shifts when required.

We’d love to meet you if you also:

• Have at least three years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server databases, and .NET applications.
• Have worked with MySQL, Red Hat Linux Server, or Drupal.
• Are familiar with global Active Directory environments and architectures.
• Have experience with, or knowledge of, AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Are familiar with IPSAS-related operational concepts and processes.
• Have knowledge of another official United Nations language.
• Hold Microsoft certifications or advanced training in Microsoft technologies.
• Hold an ITIL certification or have a solid understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
