Job Description:

We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced Area Manager to lead and optimise retail operations across Madrid (Centro/Norte) territory. You’ll drive commercial growth, strengthen customer experience, and ensure operational excellence across multiple sites, working closely with partners, franchisees, and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Own results for your territory: sales, performance, and site standards.
  • Visit sites regularly, spot issues early, and fix them fast.
  • Mentor site teams and support managers with clear goals and follow-up.
  • Use customer and sales data to decide what to improve and where to invest time.
  • Keep sites compliant with BP standards and local requirements.
  • Work closely with partners/franchisees and key internal teams.
  • Handle supplier/partner discussions when needed (commercial terms, agreements).
  • Share updates clearly—what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need from others.

What you need

  • Experience handling multiple retail locations (Area Manager or similar).
  • Confirmed results improving sales and operational performance.
  • Strong people leadership: coaching, performance conversations, training follow-through.
  • Comfortable working with numbers (sales, margins, customer metrics).
  • Solid communication and negotiation skills.
  • Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel across your territory.
