Associate Project Manager - French Speaking

About the Role

Hyland is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of customer implementation projects from initiation through project closure. In this entry-level to early-career role, you will be responsible for project scheduling and coordination, budget control, non-conformity resolution, and risk management. You will manage small to moderately complex customer implementations, operating under limited oversight and aligned with established project management methodologies. Fluency in French (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement for this role, as you will regularly engage with French-speaking customers and stakeholders. Here's What You'll Do

• Utilize the Project Implementation Methodology and related tools to bring projects to successful completion within scope, on time, and within budget; create and maintain project documentation utilizing standards prescribed by the Project Management team.
• Develop, maintain, and track project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and action items; maintain accurate project data, status reporting, forecasts, and milestone tracking in company systems.
• Facilitate and coordinate client meetings — including with French-speaking customers — using engaging, informative presentation methods; manage timely and effective communication with key customer and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project scope against contractual commitments and escalate potential out-of-scope requests appropriately; identify, track, communicate, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and customer decision delays in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Oversee activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and milestone commitments are met; coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Services, Sales, Support) to ensure alignment and successful customer outcomes.
• Provide support to other Project Management team members as directed; collaborate effectively with geographically distributed and cross-cultural teams to support customer engagements across global time zones.

Role Essentials

1. Fluency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory — this role requires confident, professional communication with French-speaking customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Bachelor's degree, equivalent international qualification, or relevant professional experience; proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
4. Facilitation and project management skills; organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner; ability to work independently and in a team environment. Average travel requirements of approximately 30% annualized, with regular overlap required for customer business hours across relevant time zones.

What We'd Like to See

1. Proficiency in an additional European language beyond French and English is a strong plus; experience working with geographically distributed and cross-cultural teams.
2. Prior experience in customer-facing project management or implementation roles within a technology or SaaS environment.
3. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and project management tools.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
5. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Services, and Support to drive successful customer outcomes.
