At Aldia, we are seeking a Billing Business Process Owner (BPO) to join one of our international clients in the services sector based in Spain.







Location: Madrid (Pozuelo de Alarcón) – Hybrid model: 2 days on-site, 3 days remote.



Scope: 100% International – collaboration with teams in Northern Europe (Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway).







About the Role







We are seeking a Billing Business Process Owner (BPO) to lead and support the implementation of subscription billing processes and systems for an international company in the services sector. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in billing solutions, process design, and system configuration, working closely with European business and IT teams to ensure successful deployment across multiple markets.







Key Responsibilities



  • Design, configure, and implement billing and invoicing processes aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead end-to-end subscription billing system implementations (from requirements gathering to go-live).

  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams across different European countries.

  • Translate complex system concepts into clear business language for stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system or process issues efficiently.

  • Ensure continuous process improvement and alignment with best practices.






Requirements



  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing subscription billing systems (e.g., Zuora Billing, Oracle NetSuite Billing Platform, SAP BRIM).

  • Proven experience in billing process implementation within telecom, utilities, or industrial sectors (insurance experience a plus).

  • ARIA Systems implementation experience is a strong advantage.

  • Solid understanding of subscription-based business models and revenue recognition principles.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory (other European languages are an advantage).
