We work with brands like GitBook, Shopify, HP and Sateliot. But above all, we work with international companies, startups and teams that believe in culture and in connecting their people through meaningful experiences.
We're looking for someone to run our marketing and brand strategy. Content, social, campaigns, SEO, the whole Gecko story. But it's not a desk-only job. You'll also travel to our events, bring the energy, and help the teams we host truly connect. Marketing brain, people person.
Tasks
The brand side:
- Own our social channels. Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok. Strategy and execution.
- Create the content. Reels, behind the scenes, testimonials, event recaps.
- Run our paid campaigns. Google Ads and Meta. Launch, measure, optimize.
- Grow our organic traffic. SEO and content that ranks and brings clients.
- Turn our team building formats into real products. Names, stories, pages.
- Build our sales material. Case studies, decks, reviews.
The events side:
- Travel to our events in Spain and abroad.
- Help plan and coordinate our events.
- Bring the energy on site. Host activities, run the room, make people connect.
- Be the face of Gecko. On camera and in person.
Requirements
Who you are:
- You have experience in marketing, content and events. This is a junior-mid role, so we care more about what you've made than your years.
- Social media is your home. You know what works today and why.
- You are hands-on with paid media. Google Ads, Meta, and the data behind them.
- You get SEO and how content brings traffic.
- You can shoot and edit on your phone. Fast, good, no big production.
- You are extroverted, warm and open. Your energy is contagious and people feel it.
- You speak fluent English (C1). Catalan and other languages are a plus. Half of our clients don't speak Spanish.
How you work:
- You have an eye for design. Good taste is second nature to you.
- You own your work. You don't wait to be told, you make it happen.
- You care about the details. The small things make an event unforgettable.
- You are creative. You love inventing new formats and experiences.
- You adapt fast. Plans change on site, and you change with them.
- You are resilient. When something breaks at an event, you keep calm and fix it.
Your toolkit:
- Design: Figma, Canva, Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
- Video: CapCut, Premiere, or whatever gets a great Reel out fast.
- Web: Webflow.
- Marketing: Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics.
- AI: Claude, Claude Code.
- Or the drive to master any of these fast.
