Business Analyst - Barcelona

The Business Analyst is central to supporting data-driven decisions within our RCO Iberia sales business (Spain & Portugal). You will evaluate, clean, and merge data from various sources to create clear, actionable reports and dashboards. Using your skills in SQL, Power BI, AX, SAP and IA, you’ll deliver insights to senior leaders, helping them optimise performance and guide strategic projects. You will also work closely with an international EMEA team, contributing to wider strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review current data sources, highlight gaps and quality issues.


• Create plans to clean, standardise and combine data from CRM SFDC, ERP, Sales, Dealer and Market sources.


• Build strong data governance processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.


• Develop data models and visuals that make complex information clear for stakeholders.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Deliver commercial analytics and sales insights with Excel or Power BI dashboards.


• Partner with Sales and Finance for incentive, budgeting, and forecasting support.


• Evaluate performance and commercial offers to ensure regional goals are met.


• Maintain consistent, high-quality reporting for informed decisions.


• Support Marketing with analytics for promotions, events, and trainings.

Market Data:

• Manage market data submissions and act as main contact for research partners.


• Update market intelligence and prepare executive summaries.

EMEA Standardisation & Alignment:

• Coordinate regional projects and implement standard processes and reports.


• Participate in EMEA governance forums for performance alignment and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or similar.


• Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence or Big Data & Analytics (advantageous).


• 3+ years’ experience in data analysis or business intelligence.


• Strong skills in SQL, Power BI, Excel and CRM SFDC


• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and with SAP preferred


• Experience reporting to senior leadership and validating data.


• Good understanding of data warehousing and modelling.


• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization best practice.


• Fluent Spanish and English.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Able to work independently and within a team.
