All-in-one market information, purchasing 
and sales platform for animal and human nutrition raw materials, which design tools that are transforming the way animal and human nutrition companies are informing themselves about the raw material market and the way they trade ingredients. After securing investment from CME Chicago, the largest worldwide derivative exchange, and forging partnerships with global leaders such as Atradius and SGS, we are positioned to scale up our operations and revolutionize the way LifeScience operates.

Primary Responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for growing your dedicated market and expanding our customer base by implementing our sales strategy as a member of a highly dynamic and multinational team.

  • Acquiring new customers within your sales territory through a multi-touch engagement plan, including cold calls prospecting, emailing, and attending live events (as needed).
  • Manage a sales pipeline of qualified leads from inbound and outbound channels, working the full sales cycle from cold call to successful closing.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each prospect’s business needs to communicate a customized solution tailored to their desired outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers responsible for buying, selling, or trading additive raw materials.
  • Develop yourself as an industry reference and trusted advisor regarding market intelligence for the additive segment of the feed industry.
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve quarterly business revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience of selling software to Banks, Hedge funds and other financial institutions. Ideally including an initial network within the relevant client group. If no tech sales experience: Strong experience in a complex sales position in the Banking/Finance Industry
  • Ability to align client business objectives through active listening
  • Proven track record of prospecting and selling to companies with €100 million-plus revenue.
  • Ability and willingness to initiate cold calls and schedule meetings.
  • A team player with strong business acumen, a mindset of owning the pipeline, and high standards in selling that go above and beyond expectations.
  • A success-driven persona with a "hands-on" mentality and a proven ability to go the extra mile when necessary.
  • Proficient in organization, time management, and prioritization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English; Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • The ability to travel as necessary (usually up to 5 times per year).
