About this opportunity


 


We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Developer to join our customer support organization working in the 5G Cloud Core Data Manager product (CCDM). We offer the opportunity to work in an international environment, using and learning leading edge technologies and form part of a talented, self-organized and motivated team. You will enjoy an empowering and flexible work environment as part of Ericsson Spain R&D located in Madrid.



 
What you will do



•    3rd line customer support for 5G Cloud Core Data Manager product (CCDM):
Management of customer support requests received from 2nd line support (CSR, Trouble Shooting, verification...)
From part of 24x7 3rd line support roster
•    Product Life Maintenance of CCDM
•    Work with technologies such as containers (Kubernetes), AI, Cloud, Continuous integration and Continuous delivery. 



 
You will bring



•    Deep understanding of Distributed Databases concepts and Telecommunications protocols.
•    Hands-on experience as a user or developer/tester of a distributed database technology will be highly appreciated.
•    Knowledge High availability concepts/ techniques (replication, leadership election, active/standby).
•    5G knowledge will be a plus.
•    Knowledge in TCP/IP Networking and evolution transport protocols (like QUIC), data networks and IP-based applications (HTTP, HTTPS...)
•    Experience in programming of open-platform, real-time and high-availability system, as well as scripting. 
•    Expertise in Java and C++ as well as design patterns and software architecture
•    Strong competence and experience in use of AI tools such as code assistants, Claude or github copilot.
•    Good communication skills and open personality.

•    Bachelor's degree in Telco, Computer Science.
 



Desirable



•    Knowledge of LLMs and its applicability (Low-code LangGraph, Langchain, MCPs...)
•    Knowledge of database concepts and cloud native (Kubernetes, Dockers).
•    Knowledge in Mobile network architecture 4G/5G. Interfaces, protocols, functions.
