Descripción del trabajo - Chief People Officer

The Chief People Officer (CPO) will design and implement a People strategy that aligns seamlessly with Jotelulu’s mission, values, and ambitious growth objectives. As a champion of our collaborative culture, you will introduce best-in-class HR practices and lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent. This role is pivotal in fostering a motivated, well-trained, and continuously growing workforce while building a world-class team through innovative recruitment and retention strategies.
We seek a people-first leader who blends strategic vision with hands-on execution. Your leadership will drive transformative initiatives that empower our team to thrive and ensure Jotelulu is recognized as an employer of choice.

Culture and Employee Engagement
  • Strengthen and scale Jotelulu’s collaborative and innovation-driven culture as the company grows
  • Develop and implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, well-being, and a sense of belonging.
  • Actively listen to employee feedback through regular surveys and check-ins, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Promote company values across all levels to maintain alignment with Jotelulu’s mission.
Talent Acquisition and Retention
  • Design and execute a strategic recruitment plan to attract top technical and business talent.
  • Develop and promote a strong employer brand that positions Jotelulu as the company of choice for top talent.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee retention, focusing on career development, recognition programs, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to streamline the recruitment process and ensure hiring quality.
Learning, Development, and Growth
  • Build and implement a robust learning and development program to upskill and reskill employees at all levels
  • Develop leadership and management training initiatives to ensure our leaders inspire, motivate, and empower their teams
  • Foster career progression by implementing frameworks for internal mobility, goal setting, and professional growth
Motivation and Performance Management
  • Establish transparent and impactful performance management systems that drive accountability, recognition, and results
  • Create reward and incentive programs that align individual and team performance with company goals
  • Champion a culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and employee recognition
HR Operations and Workforce Planning
  • Oversee all HR operations, including policies, processes, compliance, and HR tools, ensuring scalability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement workforce planning, ensuring the company has the right talent in place to meet growth objectives
  • Utilize HR analytics to track key metrics (e.g., retention, engagement, performance) and inform decision-making
  • Spanish native
  • English proficiency
  • French & Portuguese valuable
Extensive Experience:
  • 8+ years in HR/People leadership roles, including 3+ years in senior or executive positions, ideally within fast-scaling tech environments.
  • Proven success in building and scaling HR strategies in high-growth organizations.
HR Expertise:
  • Talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Strong background in learning, training, and leadership development programs.
  • Experience implementing performance management systems and employee recognition initiatives.
Strategic and Hands-On Leadership:
  • Ability to develop long-term People strategies while engaging in day-to-day execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop top technical and business talent.
Culture Builder:
  • Proven success in strengthening and scaling thriving company cultures.
Data-Driven Decision-Making:
  • Proficiency in leveraging HR metrics to drive decisions and measure success.
Operational Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and workforce planning.
Exceptional Communication Skills:
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities, with a people-first approach that fosters trust and alignment across all levels.
Tech-Savvy:
  • Experienced in using HR tools and systems to automate and optimize people processes.
