Cloud Engineer

About the project

Duration: 3 months with prolongation option
Stage: solution development from scratch

Objective

The objective of this project is to develop a conversational AI system that will empower different internal teams to coordinate their work faster. The AI system will have to take data from internal and external different sources (i.e. project boards, reports, news, etc) and to be able to answer about the progress on different company’s projects and activities and suggest improvements and refer them to the right teams and data streams

KPI

• Comprehensive documentation detailing the architecture, including diagrams and specifications at least 1x per week.

• A secure and scalable AWS environment is built so that the project team can deploy the solution.

• 80% of AI engineering best practices are applied to the solution

Areas of Responsibility

• Develop and document cloud architecture

• Comprehensive documentation detailing the architecture, including diagrams and specifications.

• Identify and integrate all necessary data sources.

• Implement automated and scheduled data synchronization processes.

• Ensure data integrity and security measures are in place and tested.

• Communication with the technical leadership and engineering pears

Skills

• Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.

• Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Advanced problem-solving and task break-down ability.

• Adept at coding and scripting, with a strong grasp of automation tools.

• Skillful in process re-engineering and comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

• Able to focus on business outcomes and the needs of the customer.

Knowledge

• Associate level certification in AWS (Azure and GCP will be plus)

• Professional level certification in AWS or Azure (or agreement to obtain within 6 months post-hire)

• DevOps and Automation knowledge

• Proficient in one or more of the following languages: Python, Shell, or JavaScript

Experience

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including AWS datalake creation and maintenance

• Experience with building enterprise security and compliance strategy for cloud adoption.

• Experience working on  UNIX/Linux administration
