At the Coates Campbellfield Branch, our Hub Manager performs a highly valued and critical role, leading a team of customer service and workshop professionals to safely deliver outstanding service to our customers.

In this role you will be accountable for the overall performance of the branch, with a focus on safety, customer service, fleet utilisation and financial outcomes. Success in this role comes from leading and developing a high-performing team, building strong customer relationships and delivering strong operational and commercial results.

What you'll be doing

• Ensuring the safety of your team and Coates customers.


• Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service and build customer loyalty.


• Deliver the best outcomes for customers through effective quoting, hire agreements and service solutions.


• Oversee asset management and optimise asset value through availability, utilisation, maintenance and lifecycle decisions.


• Own branch P&L performance, managing revenue, costs, margins, budgets, forecasts and corrective actions.


• Drive effective recoveries across damage, loss, overdue accounts and other chargeable costs.


• Apply strong commercial acumen to pricing, fleet deployment and customer decisions to deliver profitable growth and strong financial outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role

• Sales and operational management experience


• Previous team leadership experience, developing a ‘One Team’, cohesive mindset - you build and nurture positive relationships with your Team and with Customers


• A track record of delivering on customer service KPIs


• Demonstrated commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer outcomes, revenue, margin and risk


• Demonstrated P&L management and financial literacy, including interpreting financial reports, managing budgets, forecasting performance and driving corrective action


• Experience improving recoveries and optimising asset value in a fleet, hire or other asset-intensive environment


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• Strong computer literacy, including customer databases and Microsoft Office Suite
