Consolidation Accountant

About the role 

We’ve got big plans to expand into new markets and make a meaningful impact on the world of payments. To help us get there, our Finance team is on the lookout for a new Consolidation Accountant.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of the company's financial statements. 

• Oversee month-end financial closing process and review reports from the subsidiaries. 

• Own the preparation of the group consolidation, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, intercompany and Capex. 

• Manage the relationship with subsidiaries at a group and local level reviewing progress, identifying and helping resolve operational, financial and strategic issues. 

• Actively collaborate with other departments for transactional projects. 

• Be the contact person for auditors on all issues relating to Group accounting in accordance with IFRS. 

• Further develop and automate consolidation using Oracle Cloud EPM  


• Apply critical thinking and challenge the inputs of others.  
  

About you 

• You possess 8 years experience as a consolidation accountant or a similar role and the passion to continue developing and learning in this role 

• Strong analytical skills and experience in dealing with IFRS internationally 

• Hands on self-starter with strong levels of drive, enthusiasm, and initiative 

• Proficient Excel and Microsoft Office user  

• Previous experience in using Oracle Cloud EPM as a consolidation tool will be advantegeous 

• Payments industry experience is a plus
