BiPRO e.V. (Brancheninstitut für Prozessoptimierung) is a neutral organization of the insurance and financial services industry, in which insurance companies, sales partners and service providers have joined forces to optimize cross-company business processes. Professional and technical standards are developed jointly in projects. We are Germany's leading institute for standardization in the insurance industry. We currently have over 300 renowned association members and have been steadily expanding for around 18 years.

Standardization Officer / Software Developer/Integrator (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Ensuring the defined functional scope of releases of BiPRO standards
• Development of scripts and tools for automated continuous integration
• Creation of technical and IT concepts for the introduction or continuation of technical standards
• Preparation of decision proposals for the working committees of BiPRO e.V.
• Collaboration in the committees, presentation of proposals and work results
• Advising members on issues relating to technical standards
• Developing service offers for members
• Analysis and evaluation of technical trends and IT architectures

Your qualification

• Knowledge of the principles of service-oriented architectures (SOA) and their implementation (SOAP, XML and other W3C/OASIS standards)
• Very good knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XPath, XSLT)
• Good knowledge of other SGML languages (SVG and HTML)
• Good knowledge of Java development
• Practical experience with one or more current web service frameworks and software build systems (e.g. Maven) in conjunction with version management (e.g. Subversion) and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)
• Willingness to create and enthusiasm for the tasks of BiPRO e.V.
• Creativity for the independent development of proposed solutions and evaluation of technology trends
• Strong negotiating and presentation skills for collaboration in projects and working committees
• Teamwork and communication skills for work in the standardization team at the head office and cooperation between the head office and members of the working committees and projects
• Initiative, independent and structured way of working
• A high degree of independence, resilience and quality awareness
