Data Engineer (temporary project)

Our international team conducts analyses of campaign performance for marketing products, enabling external advertisers to evaluate and optimize their marketing efforts. In this context, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting product development in backend area (further development of our business logic).
• Developing, implementing, and simplifying technical processes (esp. ETL), such as the complex reloading of our data products.
• Building, optimizing, and maintaining our infrastructures and systems in GCP.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for stakeholders, as well as handling other operational tasks such as service requests, bug fixing, etc.

• Advanced knowledge in data modeling
• Proficient in SQL and database technologies, preferably Snowflake.
• Advanced proficiency of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java).
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud (Compute Engine, Composer, Secret Manager, BigQuery), and knowledge in IaC (terraform) is desired.
• Experience in orchestration of ETL-processes (esp. Apache Airflow).
• Experience with agile methodologies, problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and strong teamwork skills.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Nice-to-have: Knowledge in German.
