Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a DeFi Research & Investments Lead to own Resolvs collateral pool allocation strategy across ETH, BTC, and USD asset clusters. This role combines deep protocol research, portfolio management, and commercial deal-making. You will evaluate emerging DeFi opportunities, structure strategic integrations, and ensure Resolvs deployments generate sustainable, risk-adjusted yield while expanding our ecosystem.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of investment strategy, DeFi mechanics, and ecosystem partnerships.

️ What You Will Be Working On:

• Lead research on DeFi protocols and markets (LSTs, DEXs, perpetual venues, lending, stablecoins, BTCFi, USD-neutral strategies).
• Design and implement capital allocation strategies across ETH, BTC, USD, and Altcoin clusters.
• Source and evaluate new opportunities for protocol integrations, liquidity partnerships, and co-incentive programs.
• Negotiate and structure commercial deals with DeFi partners (DEXs, lenders, staking providers, RWAs).
• Build risk frameworks to monitor liquidity, counterparty, smart contract, and market risks.
• Produce clear, data-backed investment memos and dashboards for allocation decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Growth teams to align investments with the protocol growth roadmap.
• Report to the Head of Trading, with broad autonomy to shape allocations and partnerships, driving Resolv to become the leading DeFi product in its category.

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in investments or finance, with at least 3+ years in crypto investing, portfolio management, or DeFi research.
• Expert knowledge of DeFi primitives (staking, lending, derivatives, LSTs, perps, stablecoins).
• Ability to move seamlessly between quantitative analysis (yields, LTVs, risk metrics) and strategic negotiation.
• Strong network within DeFi (protocol teams, allocators) is a big plus.
• Proven ability to produce research that drives real capital allocation.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment, with autonomy and ownership.
• Willingness to be based in, or relocate to, one of our hubs: Barcelona or Dubai.
