DESIGN ENGINEER - MARINE & COMPOSITES - Yacht and Superyacht industry

• Support the engineering and design team with design-related activities.
  
  
  


• Develop composite and mechanical engineering solutions for marine service projects.
  
  
  


• Prepare technical drawings, descriptions and documentation.
  
  
  


• Provide technical support to customers and service teams.
  
  
  


• Analyse technical requirements and develop appropriate engineering solutions.
  
  
  


• Support composite manufacturing and repair activities.
  
  
  


• Contribute to the development and maintenance of engineering design systems and processes.
  
  
  


• Work closely with technical, engineering and service teams.
  
  
  


• Communicate directly with customers when required.
  
  
  


• Contribute to the development of new technical solutions and service upgrades.
  
  
  


• Keep up to date with developments in composite engineering and marine technology.
  
  
  

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (BEng, BSc or equivalent).
  
  


• Minimum 2 years' experience in composite and/or mechanical design engineering.
  
  


• Fluent or professionally proficient English.
  
  


• Experience with composite engineering and manufacturing.
  
  


• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  
  


• Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), such as SolidWorks Simulation or similar.
  
  


• Engineering problem-solving skills.
  
  


• Knowledge of metal technology.
  
  


• Experience in the marine industry or a similar technical environment will be highly valued.
  
  


• Experience in composite manufacturing and/or repair will be considered a strong advantage.

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

• VBA and/or Python.

• Additive manufacturing / 3D printing.
