EAL Teacher

ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School Murcia is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EAL Teacher to support students in developing their English language proficiency and accessing the curriculum with confidence. The successful candidate will work closely with students and staff to promote language development and academic success in a supportive international environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality EAL lessons tailored to students' language needs.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where required.


• Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective support for EAL learners across the curriculum.


• Create engaging learning resources and foster a positive learning environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching EAL/ESL.


• Strong knowledge of language acquisition and effective EAL teaching strategies.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Experience preparing students for Cambridge English qualifications, particularly C1 Advanced (CAE) and C2 Proficiency (CPE), is desirable.


• Experience in an international or British curriculum school setting is an advantage.
