Take the driver’s seat as the first Engineering Manager in Madrid. You'll be steering a diverse, multi -national team, fusing AI with product development, and scaling a next -level tech hub. Expect responsibility from hiring to defining the tech stack, inspiring your team, and driving end -to -end delivery. 

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and expand a fast -scaling team of 18 -20+ engineers in Madrid’s new tech hub.
  
• Shape and enforce a vibrant team culture centered on collaboration, innovation, and ownership.
  
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and development.
  
• Drive the adoption of cutting -edge AI -powered development, automation, and modern cloud solutions.
  
• Balance hands -on technical contribution (architecture, code reviews, feature ownership) with people management.
  
• Design and implement processes for continuous delivery (CI/CD), integrating best industry practices.
  
• Work in sync with international teams across Europe and the US, leading cross -border technical initiatives.
  
• Strategically report to and collaborate closely with the CTO to set direction for Madrid’s operations.
  

Profile Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in tech leadership roles, ideally managing 15+ engineers in dynamic environments.
  
• Strong hands -on background in software development—.NET preferred, but also open to modern stacks like Java or Go.
  
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high -performing engineering teams.
  
• Experience with AI -driven development, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
  
• Track record in transforming technical cultures and processes, ideally within startups, scale -ups, or highly innovative organizations.
  
• Exceptional skills in people management: team building, motivation, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
  
• Comfortable working in multicultural, distributed teams and fluent in English (minimum B2, spoken and written).
  
• Ready to drive both strategy and hands -on architecture/code when required.
