Especialista Recubrimientos, Adhesivos & Converting

We are looking for a person to develop the preparation and execution of Research, Development and Innovation projects related to encapsulation processes, in the Technology area.

What you will do:

• Collect information on the processing and obtaining of capsules and their subsequent incorporation into polymers, as well as their possible applications. 

• Develop competences in the synthesis of different types of capsules through different preparation techniques. 

• Acquire knowledge in the scale-up processes for the preparation of capsules with pilot plant reactors and knowledges in the encapsulation processes of high added value products. 

• Deepen in capsule characterization techniques and to understand the associated release processes in synergy with other areas of Aimplas. 

• Evaluate the complementary equipment AIMPLAS needs for the development of the capsule line. 

• Actively participate in R&D projects related to evaluate and propose new capsule preparation processes and their application in new sectors. 

• Identify and establish collaborations with specialized centers and partners in the field of capsule synthesis. 

• Collaborate in the review of the growth potential in the development and production of capsules, their incorporation into polymers and applications, as well as the contact with the industry. 

• Actively participate in the search for funding and contribute to the development of project proposals for various calls for proposals focused on capsules and their applications. 

You have high analytical skills, organization, strong communication and influencing skills, initiative, creativity, flexibility, customer orientation, leadership skills, self-motivated and able to independently lead, you are a team player, people oriented (cooperation and empathy).

Education required:

Higher university education in chemical sciences or similar, preferably PhD. 

Complementary education:

• Valuable master’s degree in Polymeric Materials and Composites Technologies.

• Academic training in the synthesis of capsules of different types.

• High level of English, demonstrable.

Experience required:
 

• Experience in preparation of R&D&I projects in the framework of national and European public calls will be valued.
• Knowledge of the different capsule preparation techniques and their application in different sectors. 
• Knowledge of capsule characterization techniques and their release processes.
• Knowledge of quality management in laboratories.
• Computer skills at user level (Office, Internet, etc.).
