We are looking for an Export Control Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Getafe, Spain.

Your missions will be:

  • Ensuring compliance with export control laws and regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and U.S. customs/treasury regulations
  • Managing export/import licenses and technology control processes across the business
  • Supporting internal audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring proper documentation and compliance records
  • Advising internal stakeholders on export classification, licensing requirements, and regulatory impacts on projects and programs
  • Coordinating with supply chain, engineering, and legal departments to ensure compliant international transfers
  • Utilizing SAP and digital tools to track, monitor, and manage export control activities
  • Developing macros and automated tools to improve efficiency in compliance tracking and reporting
  • Supporting technology control plan (TCP) implementation and updates in line with business and legal requirements
  • Conducting training and awareness sessions related to export control policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional and international teams to ensure consistent application of export control measures

About you:

  • BS/BA degree in a related discipline (e.g. International Trade, Law, Business, Engineering)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in export/import licensing or technology control
  • Demonstrated experience with ITAR, EAR, and U.S. customs/treasury regulations
  • Proven track record in managing licenses and compliance processes in a complex, regulated environment
  • Proficiency with SAP systems and digital tools used for compliance and trade processes
  • Strong automation and digitalization skills, including macro development
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis
  • Spanish and English level B2 (mandatory)
