External Account Manager Pharma – Barcelona

Brenntag is the global market leader in chemical and ingredient distribution, delivering innovative solutions and value-added services to customers across a wide range of industries. To further strengthen Brenntag Pharma Spain, we are looking for an External Account Manager Pharma to be based in Barcelona.

Responsibilities 

Develop business for gold/silver/bronze (high) accounts, incl. basket/ product selling, cross-selling and value based pricing.

  • Execute customer visits, prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, respond to RFQs.
  • Identify customer potential and plan to monetize.
  • Identify, prioritize and convert prospect business.
  • Manage customer related initiatives/ projects.
  • Maintain CRM, complete relevant reporting, etc.

Your Profile 

Skills 

  • Background: Life Science degree: pharmacist, chemist, or similar.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience.
  • English and Catalonian: spoken and written. Other languages will be valued.
  • Other tools such as Salesforce and SAP will be valued.
