Financial Controller

You will join our finance team as a Controller, managing all accounting and financial reporting functions while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local Spanish regulations. You will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, tax compliance, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Below are the basic job duties for you:

• Oversee accounting operations for both the U.S. and Spanish entities.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Spanish financial regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, consolidations, and monthly closing reports.
• Manage tax compliance in Spain and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Develop internal controls and optimize financial processes.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or controlling roles.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Spanish accounting standards.
• Experience managing multinational accounting and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QB, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Upper English level.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience in a tech company or fast-growing SME environment.
• Familiarity with consolidation accounting and transfer pricing.
