About the role  

As our Freight Sales Manager, you will spearhead our commercial freight operations, driving sustainable business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and enhancing team performance. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Leadership: Act as a strategic collaborator to design and implement the freight commercial strategy for BU SoG to achieve revenue and margin targets.


  • Team Support: Guide and support the global freight sales team in reaching their objectives.


  • Team Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and coordinate the freight sales team.


  • Client Management: Manage key accounts and engage in strategic customer negotiations.


  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and lead prospecting activities.


  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics, generate insightful reports, and update Directors.


  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with operations and other departments to ensure service excellence.


  • Training & Development: Promote continuous training and foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment.


  • Pipeline Management: Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure effective use of CRM tools, Talkdesk, etc.

About you







  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in freight sales.






  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the market and customer base.






  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading or coordinating commercial teams.






  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.






  • Results-Driven: Strategic decision-making ability with a focus on results.






  • Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English. French is a plus.






  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office tools.
