JOIN THE TEAM

We are currently seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative digital products, with a focus on both the front-end and back-end components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You estimate the time and resource requirements of work packages and develop and maintain the front-end and back-end components of our digital products according to user's functional requirements
• You collaborate closely with the product team and internal/external (IT) partners to successfully implement, optimize, and adapt solutions to changing conditions
• You regularly conduct tests to ensure the quality, scalability, performance, and security of the developed solutions
• You extract, model, and integrate data from various internal and external sources
• You utilize Azure DevOps as a central development tool to manage code repositories and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as to document development processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree, e.g. Bachelor
• Work experience within Digital teams and jobs
• Study and work abroad as a nice to have
• Experience in internal Stakeholder Management
• Experience in agriculture is an advantage
• Application knowledge in programming languages, quality assurance and testing skills and IT infrastructure/system landscape
• Application knowledge in Data and function modelling, Data analysis techniques and data transfer formats
• Application knowledge analytical thinking and problem-solving and communication skills
• Application knowledge in Front End and Back End development
• Wider basic skills in IT Security, Project management software (e.g., Azure DevOps) and Cloud provider (Azure/AWS)
• Systematic search for errors, analysis techniques, knowledge transfer (didactics) and Project management.
• Advanced english
