What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a senior RoR Dev with a strong focus on enhancing our backend processes for global online sales to work on different projects such as the integration of Salesforce and other future tools in the backend, customizing our websites, and driving the development of verticals for our wide array of products.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of Ruby, coupled with a track record in problem-solving, and not afraid of decision-making.

Also skills or aspirations in the field of technical leadership would be a must.

Your mission:

• You will be working on different long term projects such as Salesforce CRM integration, Odoo ERP integration.


• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Ruby applications.


• You will also contribute on the further development of our e-commerce system.


• Collaborate with other departments to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.


• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices.


• Mentor and train junior team members in efficient software development and programming practices.


• Participate in technical and strategic decision-making related to development projects.


• Architect, develop, and maintain complex Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Have 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails, * SQL, RSpec / Minitest.


• Have experience with recent Rails versions 5+ and impact on upgrades.


• Have a strong expertise in GIT version control & QA process.


• Strong Knowledge of MySQL and Relational databases


• Know how to work with Docker containers.


• Know (in-house) e-commerce implementations or other complex backend systems, and you pick up a new domain quickly.


• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong track record of successful project delivery.


• Have some knowledge about software architecture and design patterns, they are important subjects you can make wise decisions on.


• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective technical decisions.
