FX Animator - Belzebubs

Join the Gigglebug crew for a new 2D production for our adult label In-Stitches! Based on an existing web comic property and comprising 22-minute episodes, we are looking to crew up for this black-and-white, 2D series that explores “your average devil-worshipping family next door"

Responsibilities:

• Working on special effects based on the locked animatic, character animation and any other guidelines. FX animators are responsible for their shots from start to finish


• Addressing both internal and external notes on the FX


• Making sure the deadlines are met and files are also technically correct for the following departments to work on
  

The ideal candidate would have:

• Previous work experience as an FX animator for an animated series


• Keen eye for rhythm


• Ability to adapt to the required visual style


• Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony is required


• Excellent organisational and time management skills


• An understanding of the 2D production pipeline, knowledge of file formats, and asset management


• Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team, and ability to take direction


• Ability to work under schedules and deadlines
  

Software skills:
Toonboom Harmony, Adobe Photoshop and Shotgrid
