Customer Service Representative – German Speaker

Introduction

Workster is partnering with a leading international customer experience provider to recruit German-speaking Customer Service Representatives for a prestigious hospitality project in Málaga, Spain. This role focuses on inbound support and reservation management for hotel guests throughout the DACH region, making it an ideal position for professionals passionate about the travel and tourism industry.

Your Role

  • Inquiry Management: Handle inbound calls from German-speaking customers, assisting with hotel bookings, service inquiries, and general hospitality requests.
  • Reservations: Confirm new reservations, manage booking modifications, and provide accurate information regarding room availability, amenities, and hotel policies.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver empathetic and professional customer support, ensuring all concerns are resolved to a high standard.
  • Upselling: Utilize soft sales techniques to close bookings and promote additional hotel services or upgrades where appropriate.
  • Data Administration: Accurately document all customer interactions in internal systems and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the brands promotions and terms.
  • Escalation: Identify and escalate complex cases following established company protocols.

Your Qualifications

  • Languages: Native-level fluency in German and fluent in English (B2/C1 level).
  • Documentation: Valid European passport (or NIE/NAF for those already in Spain) and a Spanish bank account.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, reservations, or the hospitality sector is highly preferred.
  • Mindset: Commercial awareness with the ability to handle objections and provide solution-oriented service.
  • Availability: Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern, including weekends, between 08:00 and 22:00.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
