At People & Culture Department we care and strive to improve the day-to-day lives of the people who work at Making Science. We are looking for an International Payroll Advisor to join our team in the Madrid office. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our global HR and payroll processes, providing direct support to our various international offices and teams.
International Management: Coordinate, review, and oversee the full payroll cycle for the different offices and countries where Making Science operates.
Global Advisory: Act as the main point of contact and provide labor and payroll support to local teams and employees across different countries.
Compliance: Ensure legal compliance and the correct application of local labor regulations in each region, working closely with our local payroll providers.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve queries and issues related to payroll, contracts, onboarding/offboarding, and benefits.
Process Optimization: Collaborate on the continuous improvement and standardization of HR administration processes on a global scale.
Proven track record in payroll and personnel administration, preferably within multinational environments or with an international scope.
Advanced level of English (C1), as it will be your daily working language to communicate with our international offices.
Solid understanding of labor legislation and familiarity with coordinating external payroll providers.
Proficiency in Excel and previous experience working with HR/Payroll platforms.
A proactive mindset, high attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
