Global Tax Specialist

Vitrolife Group is seeking for a Global Tax Specialist to join our Group tax function. As part of our team, you will be in contact with tax matters in the Group and possibility to make significant impact to the business. You will be responsible for the following tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribution to the preparation of various tax calculations and reports necessary for the group (e.g. corporate income tax, transfer pricing adjustments, withholding taxes, etc).

• Looking after the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting process (completeness and deadlines), including the review of the internal tax reporting made by the affiliates.

• Support to the local finance teams and external service providers to ensure proper integration of tax activities within the overall group tax strategy.

• Review and preparation of internal control documentation for tax purposes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting different stakeholders such as Finance, Business Controlling, Legal, Sales & Marketing, etc., to ensure effective implementation of Group tax policy.

• Support from a tax perspective on projects, such as M&A, or other special projects promoted within the Group.

Requirements:

• Law Degree or Business Degree. Masters in Tax highly preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of proven experience in dealing with corporate taxes within an international environment.
• Business proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate tax issues to non-tax specialists and senior management. This role implies direct report to the Head of Tax and other leadership members of the Group.
• Ability to work with deadlines and targets. Strong problem-solving skills.
