Description -
HP is looking for a recent graduate to join the Trust and Privacy Organization within the Legal function. This role will support HP’s Business Units and Global Functions on a broad range of privacy and data protection matters, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
Provide privacy legal and advisory support to HP Business Units and Global Functions on a wide range of data protection topics.
Support the interpretation and application of global privacy laws and regulations, helping stakeholders understand their practical implications.
Contribute to privacy risk assessments, including reviewing data flows, identifying risks, and supporting mitigation strategies.
Assist in responding to regulatory, audit, and compliance activities where privacy expertise is .
Support documentation tasks, including preparing and maintaining records related to interactions with supervisory authorities.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of privacy governance frameworks, templates, and processes.
Monitor and stay up to date on evolving privacy laws, regulatory guidance, and enforcement trends, and assess their potential impact on HP.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); a specialization in privacy or data protection is a plus, obtained within the last12 months.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Interest in privacy, data protection, and technology.
