🧩 Your mission in the team

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile, heavy technical Head of Cyber Security who will be responsible for leading the security programme of Clovr and some of our closest partners, contributing to technical security initiatives and coordinating projects.
You will be a key asset in bridging the gap between engineering, compliance requirements, and technical security solutions, coordinating efforts across various functions.

🎬 What you'll be doing

Compliance and Security Advisory

• Advise both internal stakeholders and external clients on regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with frameworks (VARA, GDPR, etc.).
• Coordinate compliance documentation and processes to maintain adherence to relevant standards and regulations.

Technical Security Contributions

• Review high-level security designs, ensuring best practices and correct architectural approaches for Clovr Labs’ products and client solutions.
• Participate in (or coordinate) code reviews or security assessments for critical components.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate and track security-related project tasks, ensuring milestones are met and communicating progress to internal teams and clients.
• Serve as a central point of contact for security-related initiatives, working closely with engineering, product, and sales teams.

Travel (30-50% of the time)

• Be available to travel between Barcelona and UAE.
• Conduct on-site security consultation or compliance workshops for clients if needed.

⭐️ What you’ll need

Experience

• A background in cybersecurity consulting (or similar), ideally 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g.GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
• You should know how to replicate a XSS and be comfortable with the concept of buffer overflows and IP spoofing.

Skill Set

• Strong communication skills in English (C1 or higher).
• Solid understanding of security principles, risk assessment, and recommended security controls.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project coordination or project management skills, enough to handle simultaneous tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Team management.

Mindset

• Ability to work autonomously: proactivity and ability to solve problems together with your team.
• Orientation to detail and compliance, ensuring high-quality standards in documentation and processes.
• Aptitude for traveling to (30-50% travel), comfortable with dynamic schedules and on-site collaboration.

🛟 Nice to have

• Hands-on technical experience in penetration testing or secure code reviews.
• Previous background in technical writing or presenting at conferences.
• Knowledge of Python or scripting for security automation.
