Job Description
EduTalent Group are seeking an exceptional Head of Economics to join the Senior School from September 2026. The successful candidate will lead the Economics department, overseeing curriculum development, teaching standards, and departmental success, while inspiring students to achieve excellent outcomes in A Level Economics and Business.
Requirements
• Good honours degree from a British university in Economics, Business Studies, Maths, or a related subject
• PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status for secondary
• Recent experience teaching A Level Economics; A Level Business desirable
• Previous Head of Department experience
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
• High expectations of pupil effort and behaviour with proven classroom management skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
• Native -level English proficiency
Desirable but not essential:
• Previous experience in an international school
• Recent teaching experience in the UK
