The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly analytical and technology-oriented finance professional to lead our finance team as a “playing captain”. You will be part of the leadership team and help make better decisions through advanced financial analysis, business intelligence and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance team & operations: Lead the finance team across accounting, AR/AP and payments, as well as coordinate external accounting / tax service providers in producing annual / quarterly accounts.
- Planning, forecasting & capacity: Own budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
- Treasury & working capital: Manage treasury, banking relationships, credit lines and financing structures, and drive working capital, margin and efficiency.
- Reporting & KPIs: Design and maintain KPI frameworks, monthly management reporting and executive dashboards covering P&L, project profitability, utilization and productivity.
- Analysis & business partnering: Run scenario modelling and financial analysis to support executive decisions, and partner with leadership on financial targets and commercial priorities.
- Systems, process & automation: Optimize finance workflows, ways of working in Business Central, leveraging Power BI and AI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience in finance, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), finance operations, business partnering and BI.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring finance teams.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, engineering or technology businesses is highly desirable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, financial modelling, reporting and BI.
- Experience managing budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
- Experience with profitability analysis, margin management, pricing models and treasury management
- Ability to translate financial information into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Experience designing KPI frameworks and automating executive dashboards.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Previous experience with tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Power BI are highly desirable.
- English and Spanish fluency.
