Infrastracture Engineer | Senior

Location: Barcelona, Spain, Hybrid set-up

✈️ Business travel required.

• Design, build & maintain infrastructure solutions across virtualization, storage, and Windows/Linux operating systems.


• Manage and support enterprise data-center infrastructure and hardware from leading vendors such as Dell, HPE, and Fujitsu.


• Ensure service reliability and availability, maintaining SLAs and handling incidents through ServiceNow.


• Support security initiatives, including infrastructure patching and vulnerability remediation.


• Deploy infrastructure changes while ensuring stability, security, and operational excellence.


• Drive automation through scripting and standardization to improve efficiency and consistency.


• Collaborate with international teams to enhance service delivery, processes, and infrastructure performance.

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role.


• Strong hands-on experience with:
  
  
  
  • Virtualization, particularly VMware ESXi
  
  
  • Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  
  
  • Enterprise infrastructure, storage, and data-center environments
  
  
  • Networking, including Cisco Switching
  
  
  • Active Directory and infrastructure security tools
  
  
  • Scripting and automation techniques
  
  
  
  


• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and reliability practices.


• Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies is a plus.


• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, Security, etc.) are valued.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


• Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.


• A proactive mindset and the ability to suggest and implement process improvements.


• Flexibility to travel when required.
