Ingeniero desarrollo software - Eurofighter CLAEX

Job Description:

A vacancy for an Eurofighter Avionics Software Engineer has arisen within Airbus. We are looking for an experienced software engineer (ADA, SPARK). Work with us on the development and maintenance of critical software for the Eurofighter Typhoon system, within the national software modification cycles defined by the customer, the Spanish Air Force.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main task and responsabilities will be the Software Development at CLAEX (Logistic Center of Armament and Experimentation of the SAF, Spanish Air Force) in Torrejon air base.

This task includes the Avionics Software Development regarding the national maintenance of Eurofighter OFPs (Operational Flight Program), with the following activities:

• Preliminary Design.

• Detailed Design.

• Coding & Unit Testing. (VectorCast tool)

• Requirements management (DOORS tool).

SKILLS

- Degree level in Engineering (Computer/Aeronautical/Telecommunication Science). Master Degree is a plus.

- Embedded and real time software development experience (3 years)

- Real Time programming experience, languages:

• ADA, SPARK.

• C, C++.

- Knowledge about Avionics Weapon Systems:

• Aeronautical communications protocols (MIL-STD-1553)

• Requirements, Design, Specification

• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Driver`s license and vehicle required.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

This position requires on-site attendance at our offices in Base Aérea of Torrejón de Ardoz (CLAEX). Due to the nature of the duties, remote work is not an available option.
