By joining us, you will form part of an entrepreneurial and multicultural team of technical consultants working across a variety of sectors. 

Role:

Working at the cutting edge of science and technology, you will be working with leading companies, research centers and world class universities to push the boundaries of what is possible to solve the most difficult and pressing problems in areas such climate change, food and water security, aging population and health care to name just a few.

You will work among a small team of experienced consultants to secure grant funding for our clients. Making use of your prior experience, and with opportunities to learn and grow, you will co-create, assemble and write innovation proposals, including sections on state of the art, IP, business plan, work plan and budget.  

This is the perfect role for those looking to bridge the gap between academia and private industry, particularly those interested in disruptive innovation, breakthrough science and technology, financing and business modelling. We are passionate believers in what we do: making the world a better place by winning financing for our clients!

Duties and responsibilities:

• Securing grant funding for your clients by writing, and winning, EU innovation proposals.


• Finding and securing partners for multinational innovation projects.


• Defining key ideas, concepts, and creative solutions with your clients.


• Defining business models, exploitation plans and communication strategies with your clients. 


• Defining work plans, deliverables, budgets and risks assessments.

Education and experience:

• Degree in a technical field: Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.


• At least 2 years' work experience in a technical or a consultancy role.


•  Knowledge of the energy sector would be a plus.


•  An MSc and a PhD and/or an MBA would be a plus.


• Peer-reviewed scientific publications would be a plus.

• Languages:


• English (C1 or above).


• Another European language would be a plus.

Essential:

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, including technical writing and presentation.


• Understanding of the Scientific Method.


• Passion for science, technology, and innovation.

Desirable:

• Understanding of the European funding landscape, in particular EIC Accelerator EU grants program.


• Knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation methodologies: business model innovation, design thinking, lean startup, agile methodology.
