As an IT Support Desk Tier 1 technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service supporting the internal customer, solving a number of IT incidents and service requests as high as possible, and escalating to IT Support Desk Tier 2 those incidents that fall outside the scope of the competencies and skills of a Tier 1.

What’s your Mission? 

  • Ensuring precise and time binding on and offboarding tasks.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.
  • Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Determine the best solution for each incident to restore as quick as possible the customer working conditions.
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate service support personnel or vendor.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in tickets/logs.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.

Requirements

Your Experience, Our Future 

  • Excellent Communication: Fluent in English with exceptional grammar and spelling
  • Strong Administrative & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently and accurately with a keen eye for detail
  • Previous experience in similar role.
  • Ability to recognize the key hardware components of a computer
  • Ability to demonstrate to be able to navigate through Windows 10 operating system

Your Benefits Package 

  • Start Date: 4 ofAugust 2025
  • Contract: Temporary (3-month contract with 1-month probation period) 
  • Position: Support Desk Technician T1
  • Hours: 39 h/week
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Salary: 21.000€ gross per year
  • Holidays: 2 accrued days per month
  • Work Model: Office working
  • Training: 2 weeks of office based training, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Office Location: Barcelona (La Sagrera)
