Java Backend Developer

• Develop, test and maintain Java applications with clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to the documentation of system architecture and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
• You will work with a cross-functional together with our colleagues in Spain and Germany - Dresden and Hamburg! 

• Strong knowledge of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Understanding of software architecture principles and patterns, especially Microservices.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle, Exasol) and database querying languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Good English skills, written and spoken.
