Purpose of the job:

The Key Account Manager – Vending Channel is accountable for the end-to-end ownership of the Vending Machines channel, leading its transformation into a scalable and sustainable growth driver.

The role combines strategic account management, channel strategy design, and execution excellence, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, customer partnerships, and in-market delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Account Commercial Strategy & Negotiation

• Define and lead the Key Account strategy for Vending operators at national level.


• Own and execute Conjoint Business Plans with the Business Units, ensuring delivery of volume, share and profitability targets.


• Lead complex commercial negotiations, securing optimal agreements across portfolio, visibility and pricing.


• Drive long-term partnerships with key customers, positioning PMI as preferred partner.

Vending Channel Strategy & Development

• Design and own the mid- and long-term Vending Channel strategy, aligned with overall commercial priorities.


• Identify and activate growth levers across:

  • Portfolio optimization
  
  
  • Pricing and revenue management
  
  
  • Visibility and planogram excellence
  
  
  
  


• Lead the evolution of the channel towards a data-driven and scalable model.

Performance Management & Data-Driven Deployment

• Define and monitor channel KPIs, including:
  
  
  
  • Share evolution
  
  
  • Machine coverage and penetration
  
  
  
  


• Leverage data and analytics to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Channel Transformation & Growth Agenda

• Lead key initiatives aimed at transforming vending into a strategic Route-to-Market pillar.


• Challenge existing operating models and introduce innovative commercial approaches.


• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and capabilities to accelerate growth.


• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools and ways of working.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.


• Proven experience with budget management


• Fluency in English and Spanish
