Job Title: Laboratory Technician, P\u0026B\n\nCity, Country: Barcelona, Spain\n\nWe\u0027re looking for a Laboratory Technician P\u0026B (Perfumery \u0026 Beauty) who will supervise the laboratory activity, application and compounding for Torre Realia P\u0026B lab and maintaining a close rapport with the local team to service clients with timely sampling, identify, solve and prevent problems affecting the lab service. This is a key position within the Quality Team providing expertise and support to the local P\u0026B department fostering a cross departmental quality and compliance mind-set. \n\nYour key responsibilities\n\n * Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by being aware of and implementing appropriate lab practices that comply with all company policies, local, regulations. \n * Maintain an organized laboratory supplies inventory to determine inventory levels and anticipating future supply needs. Place appropriate purchase requests within the designated budget and follow proper good receipt policies. \n * Coordinate and schedule all activities associated with the laboratory. Track and report metrics as they apply to the specific processes, and act when unfavorable trends or other issues arise. Support the non-conformance reporting procedures within the QC/QA staff, including submitting waiver approvals \n * Maintain laboratory equipment in an operationally ready state, including overseeing instrument installation, qualification, and repair. This includes tracking annual preventative maintenance and overseeing the daily and weekly equipment checks completed by lab technicians. Complete field diagnostics and repairs as needed. \n * Oversee equipment and lab cleanliness and upkeep, recycling/donating outdated equipment as needed. Advance the technical capabilities of the laboratory by evaluating, recommending and implementing new technologies to meet business needs. \n * Possess strong knowledge of the principles and laboratory applications of chemistry and maintain an understanding of technological principles and applications of the organization\u2019s process, products and services, \n * Support the P\u0026B Team , participate at team meetings product and process development projects to achieve target objectives.
