Marketing Governance Manager

With a focus on defining, planning, and prioritizing integrated multi-product campaigns based on organizational priorities, they support the development of targeted messaging and positioning that resonates with key buyer personas across various customer verticals and segments. They oversee the marketing function to ensure consistency across Hospitality and alignment with Travel Unit, including updating processes, policies, and procedures, and assessing existing marketing function capabilities. They measure marketing strategy efficiency, working closely with the Customer Analytics team to develop and evolve KPIs and reporting requirements. Overall, the purpose of this role is to steer the strategic direction of marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering tangible business results in a competitive marketplace.

Main responsibilities:

• Synthesize organizational priorities into strategic plans. Lead in the realization of defined strategies through supporting marketing strategy & planning team. Develop long-term marketing strategy for Hospitality across product portfolio, identify key initiatives / opportunities and required enablers (e.g., specific capabilities, tools) needed to grow the function.

• Define the archetypical buyers involved in the purchasing process per customer vertical and segment.

• Synthesize market, and customer insights to drive marketing strategy and communication. 

• Act as business partner to product marketing & Go-To-Market teams to understand organizational priorities. Lead in the articulation of strategies and tactics for generating awareness and leads for the upcoming fiscal period based on priorities, including key programs and events with measurements and goals.

• Governance Oversee Marketing function to ensure consistency between across marketing function in Hospitality and close alignment with broader Amadeus, including: 

- Updating processes, policies, procedures
 - Assessing exiting marketing function capabilities (e.g. people, tools, ways of working)

• Reporting Measure marketing strategy efficiency. Work closely with Customer Analytics team to develop and evolve KPIs and reporting requirements to ensure clear visibility on channels and campaigns and performance metrics to inform future strategic decisions.

Main requirements:

• Bachelors or a Masters degree in Marketing, communication with an analytical expertise. 

• Proven +8 years work experience as a Marketing strategist or Marketing manager

• Experience in B2B marketing and strategy & planning.

• Experience in project management is a plus.

• Ability to work with a team of marketing professionals

• Clear written and verbal communication to express ideas and share the marketing strategies

•  Desire to stay current on the latest marketing strategies and best practices

• Varied marketing experience on different sized accounts and different types of marketing campaigns

• Analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of a campaign

• Creative thinker and data-driven

• Excellent knowledge MS Office skills

• English and other international languages will be an asset
