Typical questions and clear answers

  • “Is this role mainly about documentation?” No. Documentation is a foundation, but your real contribution is identifying improvement opportunities, redesigning processes and influencing how work is done.
  • “How much autonomy does the role have?” You will work closely with process owners but with enough independence to challenge existing ways of working and propose improvements.
  • “Is deep insurance knowledge mandatory?” Sector knowledge is valuable, but not a barrier. What matters most is your process mindset and analytical capability.

What will help you succeed in this role

  • Experience in process analysis and redesign (minimum 3 years): this enables you to identify inefficiencies, pain points and improvement opportunities with confidence.
  • Educational background in Business, Economics or Engineering: It helps you connect processes, systems and business objectives in a structured way.
  • Knowledge of BPM methodologies and tools: Experience with BPMN 2.0 and tools such as MAVIM, ADONIS or similar will allow you to model and govern processes effectively.
  • Understanding of regulated environments: Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus, particularly regarding regulatory alignment.
  • Advanced English (C1): Required for documentation, collaboration and interaction in an international environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Lean or Black Belt certifications are valued, but critical thinking and curiosity are essential.

Mission of the role

Your mission is to analyze, redesign and continuously improve NN Spain’s business processes, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance and a consistent, high‑quality customer experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the redesign of existing processes and the design of new ones in collaboration with process owners.
  • Analyze customer journeys, pain points and improvement areas to enhance end‑to‑end experiences.
  • Maintain and evolve the company’s critical process map, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Govern and develop the BPM platform (MAVIM), both at platform and content level.
  • Contribute to transformation projects by supporting requirements definition from a process perspective.
