Program Manager, Digital Transformation - Salesforce for Travel Industry
As Program Manager you will support our biggest business unit (Travel Unit) and deliver global transformation initiatives / digitalization roadmap, ensuring our Digitalization and Automation solutions provided generate expected business value in alignment with Functions Units strategic directions.
You will also develop and maintain a trusted partnership relationship with Business counterparts and Business Owners.
Your main responsibilities
1. Manage the Execution / Transformation
- Prepare the implementation of digitalization projects of assigned portfolio - mobilization, kick off, design, build, test, go live, hyper care - and their different dimensions - processes, people, data, technology, governance.
- Be the conductor of all the stakeholders showing the way, setting the tune, and syncing the different players.
- Assure the digitalization projects are delivered on time, on scope and on budget, manage deliverables, planning, budget, risks, issues, etc.
2. Drive the Initiative, Project Pipeline and Portfolio Governance
- Structure, plan, initiate, monitor, govern, and manage projects (scope, plan & budget).
- Perform risk assessment, develop contingency plans, and realign project efforts.
- Identify needs for change management including pre-implementation and post-implementation activities.
- Drive the monitoring of deliverables, risks, issues, and interdependencies of those programs. Identify, propose, and implement mitigation and resolution actions.
- Resolve multiple, conflicting viewpoints and secure buy-in of business leaders and resources for execution.
- Focus on business outcomes, define concrete goals, and link metrics to strategic goals - so that positive differences in business performance is measured and tracked.
- Manage contracts : Manage project vendor / s to ensure contracted deliverables are received on-time and to the expected standard of quality.
3. Manage Account / Business Relationship
- Support the portfolio lead as the principal Digital Transformation Services (DTS) point of contact of the Function units’ stakeholders, ensuring strategic intents are met.
- Identify key stakeholders and support the relationship plan.
- Foster the relationship with our Business Partners.
4. Execute Presales / Digitalization Strategy and Project Incubation
- Understand business objectives / strategies and deliver those into a DTS portfolio accordingly.
- Support opportunity assessments, securing the approval, capacity and budget required to start pre-project, drive Project Preparation Plan (PPP) and produce required deliverables.
5. Post sales / Success Management
- Ensure exit criteria are met for project closure.
- Measure adoption, benefits realization, process adherence, user satisfaction, value realization.
- Identify opportunities to improve.
About the ideal candidate
- Holds a Degree
- Demonstrates experience as program or project manager leading and delivering complex Salesforce implementation experience for large corporations in the Travel Industry addressing processes, people, data, technology, governance
- Is proficient in English, other languages a plus
- Strategic thinker, business value and purpose focus, skilled in translating strategic intents into digitalization roadmap and execution of transformational projects
- Strong communication skills, being able to efficiently communicate technology challenges in business terms with ability to build trusted and strategic relationships
