Project Engineer (Mining / EPCM Contracts / Tender) - Spain

We are looking for a Project Engineer, responsible for evaluating and analyzing construction bids for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and quality requirements, and providing support for contractor selection and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align technical and financial aspects, integrating engineering, procurement, and planning functions.
  

• Review and analyze contractors’ technical proposals, including drawings, specifications, methodologies, schedules, and resources.
  

• Contribute to defining metrics and indicators to evaluate the technical quality of proposals.
  

• Prepare detailed technical reports to support contractor selection recommendations.
  

• Assess the technical feasibility of bids, identifying risks, deviations, and optimization opportunities.
  

• Ensure compliance with technical regulations, safety standards, and project-specific requirements.
  

• Participate in meetings with suppliers and contractors to clarify technical queries and negotiate bid terms.
  

• Update technical criteria throughout the bidding and analysis process.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields.
  

• 5 years of experience in technical analysis of bids for industrial construction projects.
  

• Knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to industrial projects.
  

• Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and advanced Excel.
