Project & Program Manager I&TD

With a new Project Management Office methodology being implemented in the organization, the Innovation & Technology Development (I&TD) Project Management Office is implementing such methodology into our team. Project and program management has been identified as one critical area for the success of our innovation efforts.

The Project & Program Manager I&TD will be integral to the I&TD group, working closely in cross-functional teams to effectively deliver of I&TD new pipeline projects and programs. Additionally, this role will contribute to PMO structure, ensuring implemented processes and structure are fit for purpose for I&TD projects while maintaining consistency, and contributing to the establishment new ways of working where needed.

The main activities and responsibilities

Project Management:

• Operationally manage I&TD’s current and upcoming projects.
• Support project teams through coordination of meetings, agenda and materials preparation, drafting of project management plan including scope, timelines, costs and risks.
• Work closely with Scientific leads, internal stakeholders and liaise external parties (partnerships, collaborators and CROs) to deliver project work to agreed scope and timelines.
• Track project progress against baseline timelines, costs and milestones and report to I&TD leadership and governance Committees.
• Be a member of the project team, proactively raising issues and working with the project team to resolve them.
• Manage operationally relevant administrative and contractual tasks (e.g. placing procurement requests, updates to contract agreements with 3rd party organisations).

Project Management:

• Aligns with I&D PMO to ensure implementation of I&TD PM standards and best practices.

• Identify and raise potential opportunities for operational efficiency.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor or Master's degree in relevant discipline ideally with scientific/ engineering education.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated project management skills, preferably in biotech and/or pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience using project management tools preferred.
• Experience engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ideally, GMP and Compliance knowledge at pharma industry and high regulated environment.
• Fluent proficiency in English language (written and spoken).
• Detail-oriented, professional and proactive.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience working in multicultural environments.
