The opportunity


 


The People & Change practice at KPMG Spain is part of a global network of more than 1,500 professionals specialized in organizational transformation. Through our Global Center of Excellence, we develop and leverage cutting-edge methodologies and approaches to support clients in large-scale transformation programs.


 


We are seeking dynamic and highly motivated professionals with experience delivering people-related transformation initiatives and leading client engagements in areas such as:


 


HR Strategy



  • Define HR strategies that create value for the business and key stakeholders

  • Lead strategic HR transformation programs

  • Drive performance through workforce insights and advanced HR analytics


 


HR Transformation



  • Design and implement HR Target Operating Models

  • Transform HR into a strategic, value-adding partner to the business


 


HR Technology & AI



  • Support the selection, design and implementation of HR technologies

  • Define requirements, assess solutions and support configuration and deployment

  • Leverage digital and AI capabilities to enhance HR services and decision-making


 


Experience in Talent & Culture, Change Management, Organization Design, HR Analytics or Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) will be highly valued.


 


We are looking for a versatile consultant within the People & Change space to join our Barcelona team and help grow the practice in close collaboration with the Madrid team and the broader KPMG global network.


 


Key responsibilities


 


The successful candidate will be expected to:



  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client engagements, including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, deliverable development, project and financial management, and coaching of junior team members.

  • Manage and guide project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, strong client relationships and effective project execution.

  • Support the development of the practice’s intellectual capital, contributing to methodologies, thought leadership, whitepapers and internal knowledge assets.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively engaging with clients and prospects to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to create value.

  • Contribute to business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development and participation in client presentations.


 


Qualifications and experience


 


The ideal candidate should bring the following:



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; a Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field will be considered a plus.

  • 7–10 years of experience in consulting, preferably in HR Transformation, Human Capital or People & Change.

  • Experience defining and implementing HR Target Operating Models (processes, service delivery models, governance) and working with HR technologies such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday or ServiceNow.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Catalan will be considered a plus.

  • Relevant certifications such as HCM platform certifications (SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle), Scrum Master, Design Thinking, Prosci, PMI, SHRM, or other HR technology certifications will be valued.
